Community Woodland

At Rutland Farm Park, there is a Victorian arboretum in need of some love. We have been developing this site with volunteers on Wednesdays to create an accessible woodland for all.
We run Forest School for children of all ages and Wild Workshops in the summer months for adults. The site has been cleared of nettles and brambles so we can walk around. A bridge has been rebuilt, a willow tree coppiced, fire circle and tool area created, rope swing put up, habitats developed, wildlife monitored. |
