About Growers Row
Open to everyone on Wednesdays between 10am - 3pm
Growers Row is a shared garden established in association with The Rutland Agricultural Society on the outskirts of Oakham. A 1.4-acre field, shaped with historic ridge and furrow, the site started as a grassy field and is being transformed into an accessible, productive, educational and beneficial growing space for the whole community. Wild Workshops throughout the year - listed on the Bookings page IMPORTANT NOTICE :: SUMMER PATH ACCESS ONLY DATES 2026 Between May and August there is limited access to Rutland Showground due to large events. During this time, visitors can park on the roadside in Barleythorpe and walk into Growers Row through the summer path. Summer path access will be in operation on the following dates; 20th & 27th May 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th June 1st, 8th, 15th, & 29th July 5th, 12th & 19th August If you would like to volunteer for planting, building, weeding and connecting with nature and people, and would like to arrange your first visit, please get in touch on the Contact page.
